After years of struggling with orthorexia and over-exercising, Kaylee found solace in yoga. Her time on her mat became a safe space for her to move her body with curiosity and joy rather than punishment, and she learned to channel her stress and anxieties into asana, pranayama, and meditation. After a few years of dedicated practice, she went to Bali in 2015 for her 200-hour training with Meghan Currie. Since 2020, she has completed a 300-hour training with Jason Crandell, trauma-informed training with Exhale to Inhale, prenatal training with Jane Austin, and aerial yoga training with CJ.
Kaylee’s practices always include a theme, intention setting, breathwork, creative sequences, curated music, and moments of laughter. Come curious. Leave nourished.
Off her mat, Kaylee is a freelance writer, passionate food lover, veracious book reader, newbie rock climber, and wanna-be Olipop influencer. She lives in a cozy apartment with her husband Marcus, Churro the dog, and Bear the cat.

Testimonials & Kind Words
From A.H. at Nrvana Yoga
Kaylee is the one who got me into yoga. I don't mean practicing, I mean INTO yoga. My soul. Kaylee's amazing voice, storytelling, adjustments (even in my uncoordinated body), & challenging but fun flow is SO unique. I had been searching for a love of a "workout" & when I met Kaylee I knew yoga was for me because of her uniqueness. She taught me how to love it even through my awkwardness. Thanks Kaylee!
From M.D. at Raga Yoga
I take Kaylee's classes regularly, they are always fun, challenging and inspiring. I practiced at a different studio before coming to Raga Yoga, and I felt that I had developed some basic skills, but some bad habits too. Kaylee has a way of really breaking down the poses, and explaining which muscles/areas of the body to focus on and why. I feel that I have learned a lot in her classes.
From S.A. at Raga Yoga
Modern Hatha Class is perfect for beginners, Kaylee is a great instructor, I'm looking forward to have this weekly class as a treat, perfect to end the week.
From S.Q. at Raga Yoga
The classes are addicting - the perfect way to align body and mind in the face of life/work stressors. I'm a newbie to yoga, but thanks to the wonderful instructors (Kaylee, CJ, and Maria) I see improvements in strength and balance after each class. The classes have been especially healing after a serious running injury. Thanks so much, I'll continue to come back :)
From K.B. at Raga Yoga
Kaylee is an incredible teacher and has some of the best classes around. Her classes are challenging in the best way and always fun. Taking Kaylee's classes really helped me deepen my own practice and I'm so grateful to have her as a teacher. She is super supportive and I always look forward to taking her classes.
C.B. at Raga Yoga
Coming from Sacramento which is like a massive smorgasbord of a variety of flow and restorative studios, amazing teachers and like 100s of studios to choose from-moving here I explored but nothing seemed to fit - not until finding this place tonight!
Intimate beautiful setting, the perfect balance of challenge, flow, calm to keep my breath and new opportunities to push myself into a new space! Kaylee is a skilled, knowledgeable, warm and a kind instructor - finding a new “yoga home” in a new town is scary but I am so glad I found her class and a new place to bring my practice! I felt the BURN, my breath and loving kindness in my soul! <3 thanks!
From E.D. at Align Yoga
Kaylee has an incredible energy when teaching her students. I love how she incorporates a trend she identifies with her observations of the world to create sequences and stories to inspire us to go inside and explore what is happening with our minds and our bodies while thinking about how we demonstrate who we really are outside of class. Are we brave that day? Are we grateful that day? Or are we just muddling though the day with a pit stop to do some inquiry? Wherever a student is at in life, they will find something out of Kaylee's instruction that serves them. From gentle yin to growth edge camel, wheel, and handstand with or without vinyasa, Kaylee always injects a part of herself in each class...and a right amount cues to strengthen anatomical areas that exist with little fanfare but celebrated in class. I am grateful to Kaylee for making in person yoga classes comfortable for this uncomfortable public yoga student and for shifting to online classes quickly to keep me inspired with home practice. Cheers to you Kaylee -- as a teacher, student of life, vegan home chef, woman of the world, and as you embark on your journey as a Mrs. I'm a big fan as you can tell.

As a dance instructor and fitness instructor for various formats including aqua classes, I have always been a little skeptical and shied away from Yoga. Kaylee is the one of the few instructors that I feel really understands that everyone is different in regards to their body challenges and really respects and shows her students how to modify and work with what they have. It is instructors like Kaylee who have changed my mind about Yoga and now I embrace it and am loving how it makes me feel. Her workshops and classes are healing and educational.
L.B. re: Hatha Roots Alignment Intensive Workshop at Doux Yoga - Crockett
Thank you so much for the awesome seminar! I love your practical approach and attention to detail especially re: joint safety and health. We got to dive into the nuances of alignment and posture; this definitely helped deepen both my cognition and my body-mapping of how it feels to fire up the muscle groups needed and move them as a balanced cohesive unit. It also highlighted ingrained movement patterns that I could improve on for a stronger and safer practice, which is always welcomed!
It's always great to be able to go back and revisit/add-on to foundational knowledge. The information you shared is something that reminded me of the importance of being mindful and attuned to your body. I love that I can take this knowledge off of my mat! Thank you again! :)

This morning Saturday June 2nd, 10:30 Power Yoga. Kaylee was the sun. She was fantastic. I would love to see her have her own class(es)at the gym. I’ve been taking various yoga classes at the gym by many different instructors, this is the first time I’ve ever felt like emailing the gym because I was so happy.
Are you a student of mine and would like to support me by submitting a testimonial? You are amazing! Please do so here.
